Hello and welcome to Rothermere havanese
Our names are wayne and gaynor morris and we live in a small village just outside wantage oxfordshire.
We are a small family kennel and are very passionate about our havanese,I had my first dog which was a poodle called snowy at the tender age of 2 of course I  had a little help looking after him from my parents.
Then when I had grown up and left home I had a cavalier king charles spaniel called toby I then met my husband and we had our family.
In 1993 I had my first show cavalier who was called seymour and he led me into the world of showing.
Seymour was then followed by nell and ali and from there I went on to start breeding the cavs.
It was in 1997 I saw my first havanse but did not know what breed it was,so after much research my husband and I finally discoverd the havanese .
It then took us a further 2 years to actually get a puppy and the rest is history, as many of you know once you have owned a havanese they have you hook line and sinker addictive is probably the word.
We went on to import a male into the country from a lovely lady in denmark , his name is herkules and he has played a great part in our breeding program he is also the boss at home and even though he is eleven now he will not give up number one spot.
You can see our other dogs past and presant further into the site, herkules  and a few of our other dogs were uesd by aleading dog food to advertise their range of food in the foil containers so if you have seen them at the supermarket and wonderd are they havanese the answer is yes they are.
So thats our story of how we ended up addicted to the havies.
